Mauka 2 Makai

Mauka and Makai are Hawaiian words meaning toward the mountain and toward the ocean, respectively. Thus we are available to help you from the Mountains to the Beach!!!

Mauka (Puʻu Kukui) to Makai (Honolua Bay)

“Mauka to Makai” is a native Hawaiian practice that relates the mountains or uplands to the sea and therefore the vast ocean, and teaches us that everything is connected and codependent upon each other for survival.

One of the ways we like to help people enjoy is by giving a free shirt when people use our Concierge services. Many times this has come in handy when they realize they have forgotten them back in the states.

Ohana means family.

While this definition is true, in the Hawaiian culture, it goes a bit deeper. Ohana is all about developing a sense of responsibility and care toward all of mankind and extending our familial love and grace to everyone, whether blood relatives or not.
